I love my look to be pared back and effortlessly chic. It’s so important for me to find brands that offer signature style staples to take me through all occasions. A minimalist, capsule wardrobe is my go-to formula and Hush have totally nailed it when it comes to honing in on a look that will take you me from dawn to dusk. 

Stripes and florals

 A good stripe never gets old, it’s a trend I continue to love. For me, stripes are classic, yet also continue to carry a fresh, contemporary aesthetic. Whilst I have striped attire in various colour combos, it’s always the navy and ecru that I find myself investing in. I adore my apron style, navy and cream cotton tie dress - designed to flatter - worn with flats and keep cool whilst looking chic, it is the perfect day dress for lunch and tea dates, casual evening drinks or a laid back meeting.

Whilst florals are forever on my radar, finding the perfect floral print is no easy task. These Hush floral trousers nail it, with the perfect hue and floral print that is far from twee and the just the right side of striking.

Statement flats

In my opinion, a good pair of statement flats should be seen as an investment. Equal balance of striking print and comfort make for a shoe that will take you from dawn to dusk. These leopard print pointed toe fats tick all the boxes. I love the raw edge to the fabric, the shape is bang on trend and they’re as comfortable as wearing my slippers. As for standing out, they speak volumes without being too loud. They offer a touch of chic to any outfit, perfect paired with either a contrasting print or plain tonal ensemble.

The Essential Jumpsuit

Let’s be honest, jumpsuits are tricky to get right, they promise a lot though often fail to deliver the full package. Hush do a really lovely range of simple, well cut jumpsuits that will add a touch of style to any wardrobe. In particular the Noosa jumpsuit, that offers practicality as well as being eminently stylish. It is super-comfy to wear - equally suitable for lounging and lunching.

The sandal

A pair of flat, comfy sandals has to be top of my list for summer essentials. The Eleanor sandals from Hush offer the perfect wardrobe staple, available in black and cream, they are a fail safe with any outfit, whether dressed up or down.

Everyday plimsolls

I’m always on the lookout for a casual pump that is as comfortable as it is stylish. These everyday Plimsolls come in white or grey and offer the perfect balance of style and comfort. Practical footwear that will go with everything from shorts and jeans to a sundress, is hard to find. I’ve been embracing these Plimsolls since I purchased them back in spring.
