To me, a scent that tells a story it is always a winner – a fragrance that transports you to another place in time, allowing your mind to run freely.
UK-based home-fragrance and beauty brand, Lavender & Lillie masters this, with each scent uniquely curated, reminiscent of a moment in time, relating to founder Lillie Edgar’s life experiences and travels.

Scent can be timeless and there are moments in time that I often wish I could keep forever. Scent can transport you back to a moment in a heartbeat, a pretty intense and magical feeling, but often so fleeting.
Lavender and Lillie are a luxury home fragrance, bath and body brand, inspired by the recollection of memories through fragrance, with a mission to take you on a journey of sensory exploration, to be captivated by beautiful infused scents of faraway lands.
The brand has created five collections that are detailed with complex and multi-layered fragrances to inspire the imagination, from the tropical Seychelles, enchanting Venice and cosmopolitan London to colourful India and the wonder-inspiring Thailand.
The five fragrances are based on founder, Lillie’s memories and experiences that have been chosen through a collaborative process with perfume houses.
The candles and diffusers make the perfect home-scents and unique interior decoration in one, with their striking design allowing them to stand out - the result being, products that are aesthetically pleasing as well as fulfilling their primary function.
The design aesthetic has been curated, with talented illustrator Marta Munoz,commissioned to create an illustrative story on the products, as well as the packaging – for the home fragrance, handmade porcelain containers have been created, with the prettiest individually-crafted lilies featured on their lids.
Both the body wash and hand and body lotions look super-stylish on display in the bathroom, with the candles and diffusers making the ultimate gift treat.
Scent Stories
Fall in love with the islands of the Seychelles – my personal fave, this is an enticing fragrance with a tropical allure. Think lush humid warmth of the sultry Vallée de Mai, home to the unique and sensual coco de mer, combined with bougainvillaea, frangipani,gardenia, passion fruit and red coconut. Praslin evokes the heady scent of tropical aura in the evening with a hint of gentle sea breezes.
Praslin is a captivating exotic fragrance inspired by Lillie’s fascinating childhood in the stunning Seychelles, untamed horizons of never-ending aquamarine, where the sea meets the sky.

Drink up the atmosphere of Dover Street, London - an invigorating and fresh cosmopolitan fragrance, taking its cue from the buzz and vitality of Mayfair. An understated scent, notes of Earl Grey tea mingle with the clink of ice in crisp gin and tonics from the club nearby. This is an understated yet distinctive fragrance that captures the pulse of the West End, fused with the leafy backdrop of the verdant spaces of Green Park.
Inspired by Lillie’s time living in London, when she loved to spend time in the leafy green areas under the trees of Green Park, watching squirrels scurrying around, whilst a few steps away, urban life is in full swing.

Palace Road was created as a song to Lillie’s memories of India, where she visited my grandparents in their elegant home on Palace Road, redolent of old world glamour.

Let the Grand Canal captivate your mind and transport you to the enchanting city of Venice; this fragrance is a cornucopia of delights - gold leaf and dazzling jewel-like Murano creations.
Reminiscent of Lillie’s wedding day, the scent captures the very essence of the city that is often described as the most romantic in the world – the embodiment of eternal romance, love and anticipation.

To celebrate the brand’s one-year anniversary, a new fragrance has been launched – Chaing Mai, Thailand.
This is an exotic fragrance - reminiscent of the ancient Lanna kingdom. The scent layers heady tuberose and orchard on a bed of palm leaves and lush tropical plants, transporting you to the heart of Chaing Mai; evocative of the wonder-inspiring temples and architecture of Thailand’s opulent history and heritage as well as sun-kissed warmth and verdant flora and vegetation.
